ECHO EXPERT FACULTY: Candida Fink, MD, Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry


Dr. Candida Fink, MD of Westchester County, New York is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who works in private practice. She has been in practice for over thirty years, and has worked across treatment settings, including inpatient, residential, and outpatient care. Dr. Fink treats children, teens, and young adults with a range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, OCD, autism, and pediatric mood disorders, and she has a special interest mental health in school. While she has worked in NY for many years, she spent her first years out of residency practicing in Phoenix, AZ and Reno, NV.  

Dr. Fink is a graduate of the Boston University -now Chobanian and Avedisian – School of Medicine. She did her medical internship at Providence Hospital in Portland, Oregon, her general psychiatry residency at Beth Israel (Now Beth Israel Deaconess) Hospital in Boston, and her child fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Fink is a veteran of the military, proudly serving in the US Army Medical Corp through the Massachusetts National Guard and the Federal National Reserves from 1985 to 1993, with an honorable discharge at the rank of Captain.

Dr. Fink is the co-author of Bipolar Disorder for Dummies, with Joe Kraynak, Wiley, Fourth Edition published in 2023.  She is the co-host of the podcast Mental Health Goes to School, with Jo-Ann Berry, special educator.
