FACILITATOR: Nneka Edwards-Jackson, MD, MPH


Nneka Edwards-Jackson, MD, MPH is a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist who has worked in a variety of different hospital settings in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Boston, and Malawi. She currently works at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix where she serves a diverse patient population, including immigrant and refugee families. Dr. Edwards-Jackson is the Chair of the AzAAP Health Equity Committee, as well as Medical Director of the chapter’s Medical Services Project, a program which connects uninsured school-aged children to care. She is newly a Co-Leader of the Advocacy Track for the Phoenix Children’s Pediatric Residency Program. She also is the founder and current board member of Kids of Malawi, a U.S.-based non-profit that aims to improve healthcare for children in Malawi. She is originally from Toronto, Canada and is the daughter of Caribbean parents.
