PEDS-R® Training will teach you proficiency and mastery for the administration of Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status-Revised (PEDS-R®). The training will walk you through each page of the 4-page booklet ensuring comprehension of each component. Time and attention will be focused on each step of administering the test, scoring responses, interpreting results, and recommending the next steps for children and families. There will be a final certification test to ensure the application of knowledge obtained and mastery of the subject matter. Training is critical to ensure the test is properly given to aide parents and clinicians in evaluating whether a child is having difficulty with learning, developing, and behaving.
This PEDS-R® Training is offered in partnership between PEDStest® and AzAAP.

Terri Mills is the Director of Training and Implementation for PEDStest.com LLC®. Terri’s background for the last 20+ years has been in early childhood. Her years of experience in this field has consisted of years teaching kindergarten & then over a decade as the Director of an early childhood learning center. Since joining the team at PEDStest® Terri has worked with Dr. Glascoe on the revision of the original PEDS®. Terri is responsible for the creation, implementation and certification of PEDS-R® Training.
Dr. Frances Glascoe, the brilliant mind who created PEDS®, has a PhD in early childhood special education. She is the author of the original Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status® (PEDS®), as well as PEDS-Revised®. She co-authored another screener called PEDS:Developmental Milestones®, and a mid-level assessment measure for early intervention intake, called PEDS:DM-Assessment Level®.
After many years teaching in the public schools and at the collegiate level, Dr. Glascoe retired as Professor of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Glascoe is the author of more than 100 published journal articles several developmental-behavioral measures, test manuals and textbooks. The American Academy of Pediatrics honored her with the Dale Richmond Award for contributions to child development. Dr. Glascoe continues to research PEDS Tools® and to collaborate with researchers using her measures.
