The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AzAAP) are excited to to provide Free ADHS Hearing Screener Training!
The purpose of this training is to certify participants as Hearing Screeners in line with the requirements in the Hearing Screening Rules. There will be no fee for participation in the training.
To receive certification, please complete the self-paced online coursework and pass the written test with the score of 80% or more.
After successful completion, you will be prompted to schedule the hands-on component via a pop-up message after your test as well as an email within 1 hour of passing the test.
Once you successfully complete all the requirements, your Hearing Screening Certification will be provided through the ADHS Sensory Screening Program and is valid for 4 years. You will receive your certificate via email after the completion of all course requirements.
