NON CME RECORDING: ECHO Session 4 Effective Management of Performance Anxiety and Generalized Anxiety in Kids and Teens


In today's high-pressure world, children and adolescents are increasingly facing performance and generalized anxiety, which can significantly impact their well-being and development. This presentation provides a comprehensive approach to understanding and managing these anxiety disorders.

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:

  1. Review the Symptoms and Impact of Performance and Generalized Anxiety
    Participants will be able to identify the key symptoms of performance anxiety and generalized anxiety in children and adolescents and understand how these conditions affect their academic, social, and personal lives.
  2.  Implement Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques
    Attendees will learn about various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, that can effectively manage and reduce anxiety in young patients.
